Our services are split into two categories: Express and Advanced
Express: These services are your standard nail services which are focused on delivering a great service without all the frills. Designed for clients who are more focused on time than detail. Basic cuticle care includes gentle pushback and trimming of loose skin. This is the manicure to choose if you’re pressed for time or don’t need extensive work done on your cuticles.
Advanced: These services are focused on the details and include the additional time and tools to create a flawless manicure. These services use e-file techniques to carefully remove excess cuticle and skin around the sidewalls, rubber based gels to smooth and perfect the nails surface and specialized brushes for precise colour application. These services include “Russian manicures”, Apres Gel-X & Sculpted nail extensions.
Just Polish
Just the polish with none of the cuticle care and/or foot-care.
Quick file and shaping + your favourite colour.
No Polish
All the cuticle care and/or pedicure service without the polish.
Available in both express and advanced services.
Full - With Polish
Your standard manicure or pedicure service with cuticle care, nail shaping and or foot care + your favourite colour application.
Available in both express and advanced services.
Design
Anything more than one colour polish application on top of your manicure or enhancement service is considered a nail design.
Our nail artists are able to create anything from a simple French to 10 finger 3D masterpiece.
Design pricing is calculated based on time booked and technique/product used.
Overlays
Overlays are available in acrylic, polygel, acrylgel and builder gel. They add strength to your nails without adding length and can be refilled every few weeks instead of completely removed and reapplied, provided clients are consistent with nail care and maintenance.
Advanced overlays are also known as “Russian Manicures”
Extensions
Nail Extensions are available in acrylic, polygel, and builder gel and can be built on tips or sculpted on forms.
They add strength AND length to your natural nails and can be refilled every few weeks instead of completely removed and reapplied provided clients are consistent with nail care and maintenance.
Sculpted and Aprés Gel-X extensions are only available as an Advanced service.
Please note that designs must be booked with a base service such as gel manicure or pedicure, overlay or nail extensions as they are add on services.
Refills are only available on work that was completed by a Sparks Salon nail technician. If you have enhancements from another salon please book a removal and full set.

Which nail service should I book?

Aprés Gel-X is a fast and easy to apply soak-off gel extension system. They wear and last just like traditional hard gel and acrylic nail extensions but there is no dust, odour and no damage to your natural nails during application or removal. Aprés Gel-X nails can also be refilled like regular nail extensions by booking a gel extension refill.

No. We only complete refills on overlays and nail extensions that were done at our salon, with our products. If you have an overlay or set of nail extensions that were done at another salon we will have to remove them and apply a new set if you would like to have one of our nail technicians service you.

There are certain simple designs that can be done with regular polish, such as a french or half moon, but in general our designs are created on a gel polish base using gel and acrylic products.
If you would like a design created using regular polish please send us an image of the design you would like so we can ensure that it is possible.

Our advanced nail services include specialized and extensive e-file techniques to remove excess cuticle and unsightly skin around the nail.
The e-file can also be used to smooth dry skin and callus on and around the fingers.
Your nail shape and surface is "corrected" and the perfect apex is constructed.
Colour is applied further up on the nail extending longevity and using special tools for precise coverage.
